[ PROFILE ]

I have grown and lived in Vermont my entire life. During my third year of college I took a semester to study in Australia which opened my eyes to the world. Not only to the natural world and the amazing opportunities one can find, but also the universal world of design. For the past year I have been in Australia living and designing to gain experience.

When I started my career I saw myself sucked into a monitor for hours on end. But then I thought, why not mix it up and go outside of the cultural norm to create opportunities for myself. So I took the creative from design and applied them to my life. Design has given me the opportunity to travel, to see postcard images in real life, and to absorb artwork from all over.

[ DESIGN ]

I am not just a graphic designer, just a flash designer, or just a web designer. I am skilled across all of these genres making myself a versatile Multimedia Web Designer. The combination of this portfolio and my experience demonstrates my knowledge and versatility of designing for different mediums. This includes websites, branding initiatives, print design, and motion graphics.

In May of 2009, I graduated from Champlain College with a B.S. Multimedia and Graphic Design. It is at Champlain College where my education covered all aspects of multimedia including: Video production and editing, flash media and interface design, web design and development, print production and design, photo development and editing, photography, and user interface design. Since then I have developed strong professional experiences and have continued to keep up with the evolving trends of design. From here my skills are growing toward new platforms such as mobile devices, new web development methods and user interface design.
